A persons shoes say a lot about them, so it is important to have the right pair for the right occasion, women completely understand this concept, that is why you will find no less than 38 pairs of shoes in the average women’s wardrobe.
There is a difference between the way a woman feels toward her shoes, and the way a man does, as well as a difference in the way that men and women choose their shoes.
Men’s Shoes
Most men take a more conservative approach to shoe choices, they choose shoes that will serve the purpose, and be comfortable, while still looking sleek and smart. Casual men’s shoes for this season are likely to be comfortable stylish boots in a range of styles, with traditional colors. Not forgetting the men’s all time favorite the running shoe, which will be favored in the less bitter climates this season.
Women’s Shoes
Women see shoes completely different, because they are often chosen for an accessory to an outfit rather than an extension. Because shoes are considered to be an accessory for women, they need a pair of shoes for almost every outfit in their wardrobe.
Women also need matching accessories that go with their shoes, such as handbags, and belts were necessary to make an outfit come to life, and look personalized. Women dread the thought of going to an event to find there are other women in the same outfit as them, with dressy accessories; the same outfit can look entirely different.
What’s Hot This Season For The Girls?
This season pumps are still hot, although pointy toes are definitely in. The pointy toe rage has also spilled over to the casual footwear and boots as well. Colors this season is deep, such as purples, blues, and dark reds. Gold and black are still as popular as ever, especially in the winter months.
Textured shoes are huge this winter, with the introduction of velvet, suede, and faux furs, which can be found in all shoe types from casual, to dressy, and everything in between. Women should also keep in mind that this season’s footwear is all about femininity; look for styles that are curvy, with girly accents. If you venture toward harsher lines make sure to accent them with a few soft edges this season.
