Vince Young Offensive Rookie of the Year
A few words from Young were, "I like to go out there and play the game and show that I can deliver the ball down the field, and that I can use my legs at the right time, when it's time to use my legs, and checking the ball down, just being a quarterback," Young said. "I want to change the game a little bit."
Young drastically improved the Titans position this season and the team currently ranks second in the AFC South Division with four wins short from the Indianapolis Colts whom currently hold the number one spot for that division.
Another of his achievements in his short but fruitful career with the Titans was leading the team in last years 2005 National Championship and being considered the third overall pick in last April's draft. He has certainly become one of the toughest rookies in the history of NFL.
Young has become the third player of the Tennessee-Houston charter to take top rookie awards as well as joining Ben Roethlisberger as the only two quarterbacks to win top rookie honors in the 49-year history of the award without mentioning the fact that he is the first rookie quarterback to rush for more than 500 yards in the Super Bowl era.
The Titans definitely have high expectations of reaching this season’s playoffs and are very confident and overwhelmed with Young’s performance and hope to continue to have him play for the team.
