What do you mean by obtaining customers online? Obtaining customers online refers to the leads that you generate online for your business. For example, you can obtain leads through auto responders, web marketing, and web articles. Web marketing entails marketing resources such as Google Adwords campaigns. Google Adwords campaigns are not only beneficial ways to obtain customers, but cost significantly less then marketing on television, radio, or in newspapers.

Marketing your product or service through the Internet is the by the far the quickest and cheapest way to reach customers. Plus, a Google Adwords campaign will bring in targeted customers that are actively seeking out your product or service. Marketing on the Internet enables you to obtain customers without extra effort, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. The customers that you obtain online also tend to be more educated and will have the money to purchase your product.

Now that you have obtained a customer online, you need to take them offline as soon as possible. This means that you need to contact the customer personally to provide a high touch of service. You should call them on the telephone after they have purchased your product or service. This will set you apart from the crowd and establish a positive relationship with the customer. The customer will be more apt to buy from you in the future because you are very personable. Avoid sending just an email to the customer after the sale. An email is still impersonal and you shouldn’t hide behind your computer.

Essentially you should implement diverse marketing efforts to reel in customers online. Follow up offline with the personal touch of a phone call that can yield to repeat business in the future.
