A Better Way to Buy a Car - SAMS Auto Buying Club
As consumers spread their wings,
traveling across the city to shop or across state lines to visit family, and
cities expand into neighboring counties, automobiles become as much a necessity
as clothing and shelter. SAM'S Auto buying club offers members the opportunity
to choose a new or used vehicle for a lower price than they could find simply by
scouring the dealerships.
Through the SAM'S CLUB Auto,
Boat and RV program, consumers can purchase many kinds of vehicles,
including new and used cars, trucks, boats, and recreational vehicles. For small
business owners, SAM's Auto Buying Club also sells commercial vehicles.
Members of SAM'S CLUB have been purchasing their vehicles through the warehouse
super-store for sixteen years, and in that time, what people want in a car or
truck has changed. From the generation of the pink cadillac and station wagon to
that of the SUV and hybrid car, modern drivers need much more than a good car.
They need value and incentive. For members of SAM'S CLUB who already know the
meaning of value, the incentive to purchase a vehicle through SAM'S auto buying
club includes 10% off the price of service and maintenance. To sell their older
vehicles, members can also post free on the web-site's car classifieds page. For
those who are Sam's Plus Members, SAM's Auto Buying Club keeps a database of its
used vehicles so that members can read before they buy. They will know if the
car has been stolen/salvaged, in a hail storm or flood, in an accident or fire,
used as a rental or fleet automobile or rebuilt, Plus Members can request five
free Vehicle History Reports.
SAM'S Auto Buying Club is
primarily in the market to help participating dealers sell to their members, but
this doesn't prohibit members from selling their vehicles to other members as
well, through Club-sponsored on-line classifieds. SAM'S CLUB Plus Members can
post up to two free classified advertisements.
SAM'S CLUB members can refinance their vehicle through SAM'S Auto buying club as
well. Their Finance & Refinance Program helps lower the effects of high interest
rates by offering lower percentage rates than are found with many banks or
credit unions. Through E-LOAN, SAM'S CLUB members are presented a check to pay
their previous loan holder in full.
Similarly, SAM'S Auto Buying Club offers members the chance to finance through
them to receive a new or used vehicle, at an interest rate that is one to two
percentage points better than that of a bank, and it requires no down payment.
SAM'S CLUB Plus members receive even better rates. Members can also insure their
vehicle through SAM'S CLUB (via an agreement with Answer Financial) or sign up
for roadside assistance.
To find a vehicle on-line through SAM'S CLUB, members can indicate what type of
car they wish to locate. For used cars, members can search by vehicle make or
category. Entering a valid zip code will direct them to a questionnaire
regarding their particular needs, and a list of available vehicles meeting those
requirements will generate, providing the name and phone number of a dealership
nearby that has that car in their inventory.
Members will need to show their SAM'S CLUB membership card in order to take
advantage of the member pricing through SAM'S Auto Buying Club. For those who
would like to become SAM'S CLUB members, the process is simple. Locate the
nearest SAM'S CLUB, provide the clerk at the membership desk with a valid piece
of I.D. and proof of residence, pay the yearly fee of and begin shopping.
The card is valid immediately.
