This guide will show you how to easily convert AVI files to 3GP video files and viceversa.

Convert AVI to 3GP

First start up 3GP Converter 2007, now just select the "Import Video" button and select the AVI file you want to convert into 3GP.
On the main screen you can see some details about the video you have just imported, now select the "Convert to 3GP" button.
Now we just need to select the Video and Audio codec for the output file and the screen resolution, in our case we choose MPEG-4 as video codec, AAC for the sound codec, and finally 176 X 144 screen resolution.
To start the conversion just click on the "Convert to 3GP" button.

Please note that not all 3G phones support the above codecs, check your phone manual to see what codecs and screen resolutions are supported.

As you can see it takes only a couple of simple steps to convert Avi files into 3GP.

Convert 3GP to AVI

You probably have many videos you made on your 3G phone that you would like to put on your Pc and be able to watch them on your favourite movie player, the problem is that most video players for Pc don´t support 3GP files.
We just need to convert all our videos to AVI, a video format that is supported by any video player.
First start up 3GP Converter 2007, now just select the "Import Video" button and select the 3GP file you want to convert into AVI, and then select "Convert to Avi".
At this point we just need to select the Video and Audio codec for the output file and the screen resolution, in our case we choose MPEG-4 as video codec, MP3 for the sound codec, and finally "No change" as screen resolution.
To start the conversion just click on the "Convert to AVI" button.

Now you can watch all the videos you made with your 3G phone on any Pc.
