Exercise Your Way to Mind Blowing Sex. The Results are Fantastic!
People who are physically and mentally fit are more likely to have much better sex lives. This may seem instinctive, however many people find that the road to a fit mind and body is very bumpy. It usually involves losing weight, exercising, getting plenty of sleep, and reducing stressful things in ones life. However, the big reward for doing these things not only is to look and feel better, but also to have an increase in the pleasure of sexual activities. So what is the secret?
1. Move that Body! 20 to 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a day can help to increase the body’s natural hormones which are important for sexual arousal, increased aerobic capacity and muscle strength as well as overall self image. People who exercise on a regular basis will have increased levels of desire, confidence, and greater sexual satisfaction. Studies also show that regular exercise can affect erectile dysfunction and low libido in both women and men. 2. Sleep, sleep, sleep. In order to be able to keep up with your partner under the sheets, it requires a lot of energy and the right mood. The mood that people are in can be affected by the amount of sleep that they are getting at night. People who sleep six hours or less are more likely to be stressed, tired, or more upset/angry than those who sleep 8 hours or more. Not only does lack of sleep lower your sex drive, but it can also affect motor skills (hence more accidents), ability to lose weight (hence poor self perception), have increases your chance of having a metabolic or hormonal disorder. Think about it, all of these things could really put a damper on your sex life. So the next time you are able, increase your sleep and see how it affects your mood and fun in the bedroom. 3. You are what you Eat! Yes, it had to be said. A poor diet can cause health problems. Think about it, you eat what you want and end up overweight. Now your self esteem is right out the window again and worse being overweight could cause a variety of health issues. These health issues cause you to have to take medication. A lot of the medications that are out there have a side effect of causing decrease in sexual function or libido. If you eat healthy, you will not only look good and feel good, but it is likely that you will not have any sexual dysfunction in the bedroom. 4. Unwind your Mind! The brain is the most important sex organ of all. It is in your mind where you feel self confident and energized from keeping body fit. In order to have a healthy sex life, you have to be able to unwind and experience pleasure. If you are stressed from work or something in the family, this will definitely have an affect on your performance in the bedroom. Make time to unwind after your busy day by yourself. You need to set priorities in life, make a schedule, and stick to it. Scheduling a sexual interlude is not a bad thing, especially in this day and age where families are extremely busy running from activity to activity in the evenings. But, keep in mind; once you schedule it… do not cancel it.
Living healthy does have its benefits. Getting regular exercise, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and unwinding from your stress will all greatly improve your chances of having a wonderful relationship with your partner in the bedroom. Set your priorities and take care of yourself and your sex life will become enjoyable once again.
