Revenge Spot for Brownies as Lively Dog!
December 4, 2006 (Cleveland, Ohio) - Fresh off an impressive win over Herman Edwards Kansas City Chiefs, the Cleveland Browns will venture to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. Just two weeks ago, the Steelers stunned the Browns when Ben Roethlisberger shoveled a 4-yard touchdown pass to Willie Parker with 32 seconds left, rallying the Steelers to a 24-20 win over the Cleveland Browns, who were minutes away from kicking the defending Super Bowl champions into the AFC North basement.
Sportsbook.com, who continues to raise the bar, is servicing customers online with a plethora of Betting opportunities as well as numerous promotions and bonuses. They have the Steelers listed as -9 point pick in a quick turnaround for both teams. When this scenario presents itself, injuries are a key issue as players do not get sufficient time to treat and nurse them.
Charlie Frye injured his right wrist -- and may have broken it -- during the Browns' 31-28 overtime victory over Kansas City on Sunday. He was replaced by Derek Anderson, who was more known for having size 17 shoes at age 10 before throwing two TD passes Sunday in the final nine minutes of regulation to rally the Browns.
While all the noise resonating from Cleveland usually centers around receivers Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow, the Steelers had better account for Steve Heiden who caught two touchdown passes against the Chiefs. The problem for Anderson this week will be the Steelers blitzing schemes and the raucous crowd that totally took Tampa Bay rookie quarterback Bruce Gradkowski apart on Sunday.
The Steelers have several injury issues with Troy Polamalu, Hines Ward, and Ryan Clark. Another concern is the ailing running game. A week after rushing for 21 yards against Baltimore, the Steelers were limited to 76 yards on 31 carries, a 2.5 average. Willie Parker carried 22 times for 61 yards.
These teams flat out hate each other and after the last game, Steelers linebacker Joey Porter had this to say "If you talk and lose, you're still losers." He went on to say "They talk like a different team, but in reality they are not. They had all the breaks, all the bounces. But when it was nail-biting time and you've got to make plays, who made them?"
The over/under total has not been posted due to the injury situation!
