Sportsbook.com Offers Up Weeknight College Football Buffet!
October 2, 2006 (Miami, FL) - This is the time of year where sports fans are in a sports betting frenzy as every time you turn your head, there is another fantastic proposition staring you in the face. They went 9-4 and won the Conference USA title in 2005 before beating Fresno State in the Liberty Bowl. Tulsa is -6 ½ point favorite against and the total sits at 47 ½.
On Wednesday night in West Virginia the Thundering Herd of Marshall will hope to rumble over the Golden Knights from the University of Central Florida. Marshall has struggled this year and their backers have not been cashing tickets. It must be noted however that they have faced Tennessee, Kansas State and West Virginia. UCF was expected to contend for the Conference USA title this year but are struggling! The point spread is moving in the host direction at -3!
Thursday night offers you a double dip as the Seminoles of Florida State travel to Raleigh, North Carolina and a date with the Wolf Pack. Neither team can afford to slip up if they plan on contending for the ACC crown. FSU was already stunned at home by Clemson, while NC State had a miracle win against Boston College last week. The line being offered is FSU -10 ½, but the home side has always put up a good fight against Bobby Bowden’s team.
The online betting shop also will feature the TCU Horned Frogs as they venture to Utah and a date with the Utes. Both teams are in a state of shock as TCU was stunned by the visiting BYU Cougars last week, while Utah got annihilated by the Broncos of Boise State this past Saturday.
The line opened as pick-‘em but the early betting action has been all TCU to this point as they are -2!
Many football insiders felt that the Louisville Cardinals would be in trouble when their Killer B’s Brohm and Bush went down with devastating injuries. Boy, were they wrong as Bobby Petrino’s lads have been very impressive this season. They head to Tennessee this Friday to face a Middle Tennessee State team that has been destroyed 59-0 by Oklahoma, but won 35-0 and 44-0 against North Texas and Tennessee Tech. The line opened at 28 ½ but has found itself all the way up to Louisville -33.
