Booklets are almost and always interchangeably used to refer to catalogs. Although catalogs may be in some respect likened to booklets since they both are multi-page documents but in truth they are very different especially in their contents. However I am not saying also that booklets may not be used for any marketing endeavor because it can perfectly function as well but still it will not be created entirely like that of a catalog.

Booklet printing is again different from that of catalog printing in the sense that only the outer covers as well as the inner covers are printed using full color or in black-and-white. Catalog printing on the other hand make use of full color printing even for its inner pages. The reason for this is that photos of products and services being promoted needs to come out as eye catching as possible.

I hope that you know by now the difference between booklets and catalogs. However I want to further give emphasis on booklets since I feel that a lot of people are really still confuse.
