Seven Habits of a Loser
Clearly not everyone becomes successful in life. It is useful to know what the "losers" have in common. Such knowledge can help you see if you have these problems and thereby give you the opportunity to remove them so that they no longer hold you back.
Here are the seven most common habits that can hold you back from achieving your true success potential.
Bad Habit Number 1: Laying Blame
Nothing is more certain to block success than blaming other people or circumstances for keeping you where you are now. If it were true that outside forces controlled your destiny then success would be a matter of luck.
All successful people know that they are responsible for all the bad and all the good in their lives. If you catch yourself laying blame then you better start working fast to break this crippling habit.
Bad Habit Number 2: Arguing For, or Justifying, Limitation
If you argue for, or justify, your limitations then you will get to keep them - guaranteed!
This is a well oiled habit in average and below average people. However, as you go up the success scale you will see this habit become rarer and rarer and then disappearing altogether.
Bad Habit Number 3: Denying Unwanted Realities
Successful people don't lay blame or justify but they don't ignore the facts either. Many unsuccessful people live in a fantasy world. They will convince themselves that they are on the road to success when all the evidence is telling them that their life is not changing and that they are not taking daily goal directed action.
Denying a problem doesn't make it go away. Facing the problem, analysing it and then taking massive solution oriented action is what will remove that problem from your life.
Bad Habit Number 4: Avoiding Necessary Learning or Failing to Put Learning into Action.
If you don't know what you are doing then it is crazy to expect that you are going to consistently produce your desired results.
Learning what you need to know and do, but then not doing it is even crazier.
These are common success blocking habits that need to be identified and blasted out of existence.
Bad Habit Number 5: Ignoring Opportunity
Opportunity isn't rare! There is a saying among the successful that the "opportunity of a lifetime" comes along about every two weeks or so on average. It's not lack of opportunity it is the habit of ignoring opportunity that is costing most people their potential success.
If you consistently turn your back on opportunity then your subconscious decides that you don't really want your life to improve so it works extra hard to keep you from succeeding.
Bad Habit Number 6: Avoiding Risks Or Taking Unmanaged Risks.
Risk is not you enemy in this life. Yet most people fall into one of two categories; either they are in fear of risk and avoid it at all cost or they recklessly ignore risk and do crazy things that have very little chance of succeeding.
Risk is an everyday reality of life. The trick is to get good at identifying it and managing it.
Bad Habit Number 7: Talking the Talk Without Walking the Walk
Talking the talk without walking the walk is a clear instruction to your subconscious mind that it should not seriously listen to any goal setting that you may do.
The common habit of setting a New Year Resolution and then breaking it within a day or two is a classic example of this success preventing habit.
If you want your subconscious on your side, helping you to succeed, then you need to keep your actions consistent with your words. Lying to yourself is the most destructive form of lying.
Now a question or two for you to answer as bluntly and honestly as you can:-
Do you have any of these seven losing habits? And if you do, what are you going to do about them?
