Increase Website Traffic with Keyword Articles
You may be hurting your business website if you're not using keyword articles. Everyone understands the importance of keywords, and how they influence a website's Google ranking. But it's no longer enough to just stick a few keywords in your page's title and code. Keyword articles provide a legitimate way to fill your pages with relevant keywords.
When a person uses Google, or any search engine, to find information, they use keyword phrases to perform the search. Your job as a webmaster or online business owner is to learn which keyword phrases are most relevant to your site. You then incorporate them into the copy on your page. The easiest way to accomplish this, while also providing relevant information, is to use keyword articles.
As an aside, let me say that keyword articles can work for any business site. I don't need articles, you may think. After all, I'm selling perfume and jewelry. Good sales copy is all I need. Well, you could also attract more traffic by including keyword articles along with that great sales copy. The articles fit perfectly into the design of any website.
Keyword articles usually average between 250 - 800 words, and are written with specific keyword phrases in mind. With keyword articles, you can assign a different keyword phrase to each page of your site. When Google indexes your pages, it determines what each page is about and what its rank should be based on the keywords. This is very helpful if you're interested in Google Adsense.
How to create keyword articles
Keyword articles don't have to be prize-winning material (although it would be nice). And you don't have to write like Toni Morrison or Stephen King to put one together. But keyword articles should make sense, be enjoyable to read, provide relevant information, and have good spelling and grammar.
Google likes websites with lots of pages and relevant content. You can't simply repeat one word over and over, and expect Google to fall for it. This practice is known as keyword spamming, and can get your site dropped from the search engine. Each keyword phrase must appear naturally within a paragraph or heading. It's also wise to use keyword phrases that make sense.
Many website owners rely on keyword software or websites to find relevant keywords. These programs are time savers, but often provide keyword phrases that make no sense. I recently saw a software generated list that included "how do i make sudoku in spreadsheet" and "car hydraulics how to install". It's obvious that some keyword phrases are not made for articles.
If you can't write the articles yourself, hire a writer to do them for you. There are numerous places online to find keyword article writers. If you choose to use one of the freelance bidding sites, make sure to view writing samples before hiring a writer. Just because a person has positive feedback and lots of jobs under their belt, doesn't mean their writing is sufficient for what you want.
Why not give keyword articles a try? The only thing you have to gain is more traffic and more sales. Happy keyword hunting!
