No matter how fast-paced this world is, it never ceases to amaze me that certain traditions have stood the test of time. And with the contast evolution of tennology, we tend to find a way to mix both the old traditions with the new trends.
So when it comes to finding your significant other, what works and what doesn’t in this era? Undoudtedly you will think of online dating as the current trend, but many people have noticed the downward move of the online dating usage on the dating graph. But this is not to say that we should bycott cyber dating at together. On the contrary; we should use it to make our efforts diverse and cover a larger territory, geographically speaking. And with so many dating sites to choose from, this resource might be helpful.
Dating, matchmaking and the quest for the soulmate is such an private affair that needless to say you need someone you can trust and who understands you. I once came across a Russian saying “choose a matchmaker, not a bride”. At that time I though to myself “How strange….Why would you choose a matchmaker and not be proactive and choose your spouse yourself”? Little did I know at that time, that a matchmaker is more than just a well-intentioned friend. I was reading an article about Irene Valenti a few days and it mentioned that a matchmaker is like having a friend, caring relative and a smart personal manager all rolled into one. That is a good way to describe a matchmaker’s role.
Our lives are so hectic, it is a challenge to be organized in this arena of our personal life. So do the math and find out what you can manage. Combine two or four ways that you think would be effective for you in your search for that special someone.
