Characteristics of the Burris Black Diamond Titanium Rifle Scope
Features of the Burris Black Diamond Titanium Scope
The scope body is made from formed titanium, the same robust metal used in the aerospace industry. These scopes can take a pounding like no other and still operate like new.
Burris covers the Black Diamond Titanium with vapour deposition aluminum titanium nitride coating. This surface is so robust it will not flake.
The most important part of any scope is the lenses. The Burris Black Diamond scope has precision formed optics made from ultra pure, ground and polished glass to transmit a maximum amount of light. Afterwords, both lens is coated with a multi-step procedure that protects the lenses so well they are scratch proof, not the lessor claim of scratch resistant.
The particular coating that Burris employes makes the lenses so perfect that water readily beads up and drips off. Obviously this is a important benefit on raining or snowy outings in the field.
Recoil from many high-powered magnum loads can make the end of the scope to impact your eye. Not so if you use Black Diamond Titanium scope. The 3-1/2 to 4 inch eye relief gives plenty of room between your eye and the scope.
The Black Diamond Titanium is made with either Plex and Ballistic Mil-Dot reticles and comes with Storm Queen style lens covers.
All Burris scopes are produced in America and come with the Forever Warranty.
