Psychic Phenomena
Psychic phenomena can be broken down into three general brackets. There are the physical, the mental and the metaphysical types of phenomena experienced by people in all sorts of different ways. Many people view the same psychic phenomenon in a different way, as each person’s perception of the event may well vary with the amount of psychic awareness they possess.
The invariable rule is that the more ‘psychically aware’ you are the more you are going to be cognisant of the occurrence. This is just a question, often, of birth, as some people are born with different skills, so some are born with a much more ‘receptive’ brain to the other dimensions. A well known physicist and space (as a dimension) expert at Cambridge University in England has proved that so far 28 dimensions are known to exist, so our usual three is peanuts.
As we understand it at present, and of course some people understand it more than others, psychic phenomenon are capable of coming from some or all the above mentioned 28 dimensions, and effect some or all of the people experiencing or observing them. However to some people who have the ‘awareness’, these events are easily detectable. Rather like being able to switch channels on the TV, some people are able to attune their minds to the ‘correct station’ and either listen, feel or experience the phenomenon.
Psychic phenomenon, of course, cross the bounds of the “known laws of physics” but as physically and metaphysically 28 dimensions have been found, and we know little or nothing of many of them, we are unlikely ever to know the true ability of all humans to communicate effectively with most of these.
To the question “what are psychic phenomena?” the answer is very difficult because they vary so much. Many people experience lucid dreams which they may or may not be able to understand by themselves.
Out of body experiences, where you feel that you are watching yourself or something from above or away from your body, has occurred to many people. The people who can not only communicate through this medium but also gain understanding about what is happening probably has the ‘gift’ or ability to use their mind in more dimensions than most.
Chronokinesis is the ability to in some way mentally affect the flow of time, whilst various other physical manifestations of the mind moving physical objects are apparent over the centuries. Most Holy books of most religions for instance have tales or parables to show the force of “mind over matter”, either from the originator of the religion or their followers.
