SEAT Altea XL wins Special Prize in Design Category in Poland
In the news: SEAT latest addition to its range, the 2007 Altea XL has won its very first award in Poland where it won the special prize in the design category. The members of the Poland‘s Car No.1 has agreed to give the Altea XL special prize in the design category.
The award received by the Altea XL is the most recent award for the 2007 SEAT Altea XL an addition to the long list given to SEAT’s new generation of models led by the Altea which in 2004 was branded as the “The most beautiful car in the world”.
SEAT created the Altea XL in response to those who admire the Altea’s sporty, dynamic silhouette but prefer a more loading space for the family. The XL exceeds the other range of Altea by 18.7 centimeters and features a boot with 532 litres of capacity which offers countless of possibilities for rearranging the interior while maintaining the new generation of SEAT model’s sporty looks. The luggage racks that it has strengthen its family approach.
The “Poland’s Car No. 1” is part of the “Auto 1 of Europe” competition which is organized in twenty-five countries. The participating vehicles from each country are assessed on a track by chief editors of the award’s participating media. It is also the tradition of the said competition to hold the awarding ceremony at the Geneva International Motor Show. For this years competition it is scheduled next March.
Black & White SEAT Altea
In the early part of January, SEAT dealership network in Spain has already featured a Black & White version for the SEAT Altea range which is offered in a limited series with only 200 units offered in Spain. The limited series reflect a combination of magico black body paint and pale Moonrock leather upholstery. Such unique color scheme gives the Altea range the illusion of roominess and a degree of elegance that can match those of the higher segment vehicles.
And with its stylish trim level as a guideline, the Black & White adds Moonrock leather upholstery, heated seats, audio equipment with MP3 and eight speakers, Bluetooth connection for hands-free telephone, metallic paint and 17 inch alloy Zenith wheels. These standard elements are complemented with a steering wheel mounted controls, rear parking sensors, ESP, volumetric alarm, rain sensing wipers, automatic lights-on, dual zone climatiser, trip computer, cruise control, front and rear power windows and electric park position door mirrors further makes the limited series SEAT Altea a leader in its range.
The limited version of the Black & White SEAT Altea does not stop at its elegant color combination and top notch trim level but extends up to its list of standard comfort and safety equipment that sends it directly to the top of its range. The SEAT Altea Black & White is exclusively available with the 140 hp 2.0 TDI engine and cost 25,280 Euros.
