The Power of a Tornado in Your Car!
Invented in 1992 by a Korean automotive engineer, the Tornado Fuel Saver is a stainless steel, non-moving air-swirling device that can increase fuel efficiency and horsepower of a vehicle. It is fitted inside the air filter housing in carbureted vehicles or inside the air intake/air inlet hose in fuel-injected vehicles. This fuel-saving accessory works as an air channeling tool that generates a swirling air motion, enabling the air to move faster and more efficiently as it whirls the air around corners and bends. The resulting swirling air effect helps atomize the fuel inside the engine – leading to an even fuel/air mixture – thus, the more efficient fuel mileage and performance.
The key to the Tornado Fuel Saver's quiet gas-saving feature is better fuel atomization. This has been confirmed by a road test performed at an emission lab licensed by the Environmental Protection Agency. This has showed an increase in gas mileage by seven to twenty four (7-24) per cent. The unit fits in the air hose between the intake manifold and the air flow meter for electronically fuel injected vehicles. Installing Tornado Fuel Saver will not void a vehicle's warranty as it is unlawful for car manufacturers to void their manufacturer's warranty for installing an after-market device. The makers of the Tornado Fuel Saver has provided a quick installation guide complete with photographs to help the average car owner to easily outfit his/her vehicle with the product. The outfitting process can be done in three easy steps. For injected engines, the first step is to remove the air inlet hose (usually found between the throttle body and air filter box). Then, install the unit ensuring that it is fitted snugly. Lastly, the hose must then be replaced and the clamp secured. For carbureted engines, the first step involves removing the wing nut from the air cleaner housing. Then, the top of the housing must be removed to facilitate the installation of the unit. To finish it off, the air cleaner top cover must be fastened tightly over the air cleaner top.
