Friends. Guests. Countrymen. Let it be known that the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is currently making sure that everything would be in good order for the annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival.
This festival would be held by the important museum during the Labor Day weekend. And they are making sure that everybody who would be attending the event would be having a grand time. That is why preparations are currently going underway as we speak. Everything would start on the evening of the 31st of this month which falls on a Thursday. And it would include a new activity which is known as the very first Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza.
Aside from the usual socialization activities that includes lots of drinks, food, dinner, music and tours of the museum, the museum would also be having a silent auction. However, if you want something more lively, there would also be a live auction wherein fine products would be put and displayed under the spotlights. There would be those automotive pieces of art which have been created by some of the finest automotive artists in the country. Along with that, the list of items to be auctioned also includes eight premiere automobiles. These automobiles, according to the museum, are some of those models which have yet to make its mark in auctions for they have not yet been sent out for auctions. However, if you are looking for unique parts like Renault car parts, then this might not the right place to hunt for them.
For those who are interesting in bidding for those automotive items and car models, the auction would start on the evening of Sunday at around seven. It will be held at the museum’s Duesenberg Building found at the Kruse International Auction Park.
Also, another huge activity in this grand auto event would include the presentation of a vehicle from Cord. This is called the Living Legend of the Portz-Bortz Cord. This would be done on the afternoon of Saturday and three of the vehicle’s previous owners of the vehicle which is a 1937 Cord Convertible Coupe, would then be presenting the vehicle to interesting participants.
