Presenting the New Mercedes-Benz 2007 E-Class
Mercedes-Benz brought up a new sense of class with their modification of the sporty and luxurious 2007 E-Class Series.
"We're looking to steal a few more customers from brands like BMW and Infiniti," said John Shipley, product specialist for the E-Class.
The changes to the new 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class add more features to the bold styling that attracts customers in this segment. This is more than a mere facelift though. Mercedes says that they have given the E-Class about 2000 technical changes. Actually, this number only represents a little fraction on the total number of components of the E-Class.
At first, you would not notice the changes made to the E-Class. You must have keen eyesight for you to see the changes. Well, by just focusing on the exterior design, you will notice the difference between this new E-Class and last year's version. On the front, all E-Class models got a new grille, bumper, air dam and headlights while the rear design features a similar upgrade to the taillights and rear bumper. The 2007 E-Class will definitely offer both sporty and luxury styles. E-Class sport model adds features like dual exhaust pipes, additional exterior trim and exclusive interior colors. All models get an upgraded steering wheel, a shift lever. Standard features of E-Class models include PreSafe, sunroof and the ear-blowing Harman Kardon Logic7 audio system. Of course, as for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the new 2007 E-Class is also equipped with quality Mercedes-Benz spare parts.
When it comes to the engines, most of the E-Class engine system has been tweaked. By using the latest Mercedes-Benz 5.5-liter V8 engine, the E-Class models produces significantly more power than the previous E-Class version while retaining or just slightly improving the level of fuel efficiency. Almost all of the models are equipped with a stunning seven-speed automatic gearbox, although the supercharged E 200 Kompressor and the E 220 CDI turbo diesel are equipped with six-speed manual transmission.
