New C30 Coupe From Volvo
Although the Volvo trademark was co-owned by the Ford Motor Company, Volvo still has the unique and stylish design that marks the true and keen Volvo craftsmanship. Volvo’s eminence was taken to new heights when they unveiled the new Volvo C30 coupe concept this year. The new Volvo C30 coupe will be officially released at the Paris Auto Show in September 2006. According to an AutoWeek news report, the C30 was based on the Mazda3 platform.
Volvo depicts the new C30 coupe as “of sporty design” and most auto lovers could not help but agree. Volvo also exclaims that the new C30 coupe is the smallest of all Volvo vehicles, making young drivers as the primary prospected customers. Still, the new C30 coupe features an innovative quality design and performance that suits the driving characteristics of every person.
Frederick Arp, President and CEO of Volvo Cars says: "The new Volvo C30 is a cool car - one that aims for a group of young singles, or couples, with busy urban lives.
"The C30 has an important role in our push towards a volume of 600,000 cars a year. We are broadening our model program to make it possible for new, younger customers to choose a Volvo as early as possible."
Volvo C30 coupe is equipped with two doors, four individual seats, a glass tailgate, and a choice of four or five cylinder engines. The interior seats can be folded just like the seats you can find on a typical hatchback. Motorists would not surely have any problems identifying the distinctive design on the tailgate of the C30 coupe. Music lovers will await the release of C30 because it features a high performance 650-watt audio system that includes the Premium Sound, ICE Power amplifier, Dolby Pro Logic II Surround Sound, and the 10 Dynaudio speakers.
Volvo announces that the Volvo C30 and other supporting Volvo auto parts will be assembled in Ghent, Belgium.
