How To Find The Perfect Affiliate Product To Promote
How To Find The Perfect Affiliate Product To Promote
Hello, It's Michael Silvester here from http://www.InstantEmailSubjectLines.com/
Affiliate marketing is extremely hot right now. What could be better than having someone else create a product and you take 50% or more of all profits you generate for it.
Selecting a profitable affiliate product is the most important thing that you will need to do as an affiliate marketer. Select the wrong product and your marketing efforts will be wasted on a product that fails to convert the traffic you generate into buyers, and therefore commissions for you.
The first thing you must consider is whether to promote physical or digital products. This decision depends on two things: your market and the products available to promote.
If your market is the health and fitness niche, then perhaps promoting physical products is the way forward. You could promote health supplements or exercise equipment.
The other thing you should consider is the products available for promotion. In some niches there are no digital products to promote and therefore physical product promotion is the way forward. There will always be physical products available to promote because of the option to become an Amazon affiliate and promote any product on their market place.
Another thing you should consider when promoting an affiliate product is the price and commission that you will receive per referred sale. If the price is set too high, then the conversions may be poor. Remember, you aren’t paid for sending traffic you’re paid for sales. If your commission is too low then it may not be worth sending the traffic. For digital products, you should not promote if the commission is below 50%.
You should also consider the sales page for the item. If the sales page is untidy and does not present the product in its best light, then it’s not likely to convert visitors to sales and you’re not going to earn many commissions.
If the product’s sales page has an opt-in form, then you should try and avoid promoting these products. If a visitor you send to the sales page signs up for the sellers’ newsletter, then the seller will follow up using an eCourse and the buyer may purchase the product and you not credited for the sale.
The final thing you must consider is whether the product suits your customers’ needs. It must be related to your websites or products, but not be in direct competition with you. For example, if you own a website about exercises to help lose weight, then you could promote a product about healthy nutrition.
