Invitation to World Tapping for Freedom Day:
EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique was developed by American life-coach Gary Craig in the early 1990s. EFT evolved from Thought Field Therapy, the brain-child of Clinical Psychologist Dr. Roger Callahan. Craig a student of Callahan’s set out on a mutually agreed project to simplify TFT. Thus the roots of this new therapeutic approach lie in psychology, acupuncture and kinesiology. Kinesiology using the body as a feedback device came about because Detroit chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart was puzzled why so many of his adjustments would not hold. So he and a group of colleagues got together to develop a way that the body could communicate and answer his original question.
Jenny and husband Alan Cox are EFT practitioners in the beautiful English City of Cambridge. Jenny is proposing that Sunday 23rd April be designated “World Tapping for Freedom Day”. She invites everybody wherever they may be, to join her and other EFT practitioners to tap for freedom and thus bring about positive change. The event starts at 2.30pm BST. For those who can be there in person the venue is Parker’s Field, opposite the Fire Station in the centre of Cambridge. For others in sundry places, why not link up at the equivalent time in your part of the world, this means 3.30pm in Europe, 9.30am in Eastern USA, 8.30pm in Thailand and a late 11.30 in Sydney Australia! Everybody is urged to take advantage of this opportunity to tap away anything that stands in the way of their personal liberty such as addictions, anxiety, physical pain, past traumatic experience, insomnia and much more. It seems when a lot of people gather together with the same positive intent in mind a powerful energetic field develops and this makes the procedure considerably more effective. Of course you do need to know the basics of EFT in order to connect with the “Tapping Day”, specially if you cannot be there in person. Use the link above to contact Alan and Jenny or you can e-mail Linda Anderson at this address. Linda@healing4you.co.uk Enjoy your day of freedom!
Still having reservations, hopefully this will help you change your mind! In simple terms EFT is a form of acupuncture, yet without needles. What happens is this: the client mentally tunes into a problem and whilst doing so he or the therapist taps on the end points of no fewer than 7 acupuncture meridians. The tapping sends a minute charge down the energy channel, which then balances the body and resolves the problem. Too simple you might say, but according to Dr.Kurt Ebert; “Meridians are influenced by the minute electrical energy of our thoughts…recent research indicates that when meridians (Acupuncture) points are stimulated there is corresponding activation of a specific region of the brain.” Tapping it seems shifts the energy sent out by the brain and this regulates the nervous system. Having said that there is little wonder that EFT is so successful in treating a whole host of problems, is there? Gary Craig urges people to try it on everything. It might not always work but on the other hand what have you got to lose? Interested in this subject? Try this link for more of the same
