In a recent article on the subject of facial skin are products, it’s documented that six billion cells regenerate daily. On an annual basis, close to 1% of the actual atoms in everyone’s body are totally replaced. Human skin is completely replaced every month, a new stomach lining every 5 days, new skeleton every 90 days, and all red blood cells are replenished every 120 days. However, as the body continues to age, the organs over time lose their total number of cells. Typically, it’s estimated 1% of all cells are lost every year so that by age 45 almost 15% of total cells are lost and, by age 65, almost 30%.
