Why Don’t You Use Cheap Celebrex to Fight Arthritis or Osteoarthritis?

There are many kinds of arthritis. In its various forms, arthritis disables more people than any other chronic disorder. Celebrex is the first of a new class of drugs called cox-2 inhibitors to receive FDA review. The drugs inhibit the inflammatory enzyme cyclooxygenase. But, unlike aspirin and ibuprofen, they do not block the cox-1 enzyme that protects the stomach lining from bleeding and ulcers.
Also effective in alleviating pain and fever, Celebrex is commonly used to treat the symptoms of arthritis, gout, bursitis, painful menstruation, and headache. They act by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and other compounds that are involved in the inflammatory process.
Celebrex is available as Prescription-only capsules. Till date, more than 20 million prescriptions have been written for the drug worldwide. The dosage for the drug is one 150 mg tablet twice a day. This drug also comes in a 200 mg tablet and dosage may be increased to 200 mg twice a day if needed. Maximum recommended dose is 400 mg a day.
Minor gastrointestinal side-effects are quite common and it may include nausea, indigestion and diarrhea. This is a COX-1-sparing (selective COX-2 inhibitor) drug. It has been designed to give near maximum safety against serious gastrointestinal problems. Ulcers are very rarely seen and serious GI side effects are extremely rare.
Celebrex is often considered easier to tolerate than aspirin, and most do not have as strong an anti-clotting effect as aspirin, Celebres, that may have serious side effects, particularly gastrointestinal ulcers and upper gastrointestinal tract bleeding and perforation in those who take the drugs on a regular basis.
Do not take Celebrex if you, have had an allergic-type reaction to sulfa medicines. Also if you have had asthma, hives or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) medicines, please avoid using this medicine.
