Mobile phone media consists of a huge variety of mobile entertainment including: ringtone media, logos, screensavers, wallpapers, videos, MP3s, mobile java games , and much more. The highly populated and affordable ringtones are growing at a tremendous rate and will increase considerably in the next decade. The beginning of ringtones started with the dull, beep sound using only one tone track which came with the single line melody. They were called monophonic ringtones. Then came the ringtones with harmony and texture which were called polyphonic ringtones. While polyphonic were far better than monotones, they sounded more like an old video game than the music.
